Yspilanti Jam Session Con't

I like the transition of styles between the first and second one--although they were drawn one right after the other, in the second, I finally accepted the alcohol in my system and allowed it to affect my drawing.

End of the Year

Late night, in a crowded apartment in Ypsilanti, listening to a jam session.

12/26

I apologize for the lengthy absence what with spending time with the family for the holiday, getting ill, and, absent-mindlessly, leaving my sketchbook in my friends' tour van.
I bought a new sketchbook about a week ago so I'm now about a quarter way through. This just means I'll have to work harder to accomplish my goal, setting time aside each day to go to Starbucks or something and just sit and think and draw. The traveling I'll be doing in January will allow for some more interesting drawings.
Hope everyone is doing well.

The Sacramento Killer!

I don't know if this guy was actually a killer, but he sure looks like he could be one.

Few more.

I ended up buying a journal instead of a sketchbook so the paper is thin and crappy. BUT, it has 240 pages so thats great.

Least Wanted

I came across this Flickr group a few weeks ago from my Google reader. This person collects old photos, usually they're mugshots or criminal photos, all from decades long past. I could look at those pictures for hours. So I decided to start drawing these portraits in my sketchbook, I plan on doing a lot of them. They're great! Check it out, you'll probably love it too. Some of them are really great, like the woman in her bathrobe and hair curlers.
